Step 1:  Set Foreground color #f20874 Background color #5b52a4

Step 2:  Change Foreground to Gradient Foreground-background Linear Angle 45 Repeats 0 Invert NOT checked.

Step 3:  Open navidad8-luzcristina.  Duplicate and close original.  Delete watermark and background layers.  Layer New Raster Layer, Arrange Send to Bottom.  Flood Fill with Gradient, reduce opacity to 75%.

Effects/Reflection/Kaleidoscope
Settings:  50/55/333/-55/7/3/50 Reflect

Repeat Kaleidoscope.  Merge All/Flatten.

Step 4:  Selections/Select All Modify/Contract 30

Cut Out Settings:  0/0/100/20 Black  
Invert

Step 5:  Effects/Reflection/Kaleidoscope as before.

Step 6:  Inner Bevel:  #2/5/4/3/0/3/White/315/50/30.  Deselect.

Step 7:  Add borders 8 pixels background.  Magic Wand - Settings Add (Shift) RGB Value 0 Tolerance Contiguous checked 0 Feather Outside.  Inner Bevel as before.  Deselect.

Step 8:  Add borders 30 pixels Foreground color.  Magic Wand.  Flood Fill with gradient.  Gaussian Blur 30. 

Apply Greg's Factory Outlet II Pool Shadow Default settings. Inner Bevel as before.  Deselect.

Step 9.  Add borders Add borders 8 pixels Foreground.  Magic Wand.  Inner Bevel as before.  Deselect.  Add borders Add borders 8 pixels Background.  Magic Wand.  Inner Bevel as before.  Deselect. 

Step 10:  Open  one of the corner accents byjustjeanne.  Edit copy paste as new layer.  Move to top left.  Apply Drop Shadow Settings 1/1/35/3 Black.  Layers Duplicate Flip and then mirror.  Repeat with the other corner accent byjustjeanne.  Depending upon which accent you start with, you will have to mirror one of them before pasting.

Merge All/Flatten.

Add text, if you desire.

Layer New Raster Layer.  Apply watermark.  Layers Merge All/Flatten. 

Resize as you wish for an Incredimail Stat or a tag.  Create a background for an Incredimail stat and assemble in Letter Creator.

Step 1:  open each of the graphics and minimize.

Step 2:  Set Foreground color #b7b4ab Background color #804e2d

Step 3:  Maximize dkj_09_1_Kings_2_3_121009, select tube layer, copy and paste as a new image.  Close original.  Select all. 

Step 4:  Layer New Raster Layer.  Maximize jp303.  Edit, copy, close original and paste into selection.  Reduce opacity to 76%.  Change blend mode to Soft Light.  Layer/Send to bottom. Deselect.

Step 5:  Activate Tube Layer.  Drop Shadow 3/3/100/8 Black.  Repeat but change vertical and horizontal to -3.  Deselect.  Merge All/Flatten.

Step 6:  Add Borders:
1 pixels black
7 pixels Background
7 pixels Foreground
1 pixels black

Selections/Select All/Modify/Contract 16

Cut Out 0/0/90/10 Background color.  Invert.  Apply Greg's Factory Outlet II Pool Shadow Default settings.

Inner Bevel:  #2/5/4/3/0/3/White/315/50/30.  Deselect.

Step 7:  Change Foreground to pattern settings 0/100.  Select jp303.  Add Border 46 pixels Foreground color.  Magic Wand - Magic Wand Settings Add (Shift) RGB Value 0 Tolerance Contiguous checked 0 Feather Outside. 

Flood fill with pattern.  Inner Bevel as before.  Deselect.

Step 8:  Repeat Step 6 entirely.

Step 9:  Add Border 36 white.  Magic Wand.  Flood fill with pattern.  Apply Gaussian Blur 25.  Apply Pool Shadow as before.  Inner Bevel as before.

Step 10:  Repeat Step 6 entirely.

Step 11:  Maximize doveofpeace colorized.   Edit/copy, close original.  Paste as a new layer.  Move to bottom left corner.

Step 12:  Maximize dkj_09_1_Star_of_David_1_121009 colorized.   Edit/copy, close original.  Paste as a new layer.  Move to top right corner.

Step 13:  Maximize donnaKcornerblings9014-4 colorized.   Edit/copy, close original.  Paste as a new layer.  Move to top left corner.  Duplicate layer, mirror and flip.

Step 14:  Maximize OliveBranch by justjeanne.   Edit/copy, close original.  Paste as a new layer , move to top. 

Step 15:  Change Foreground back to Color.  Add text.  Font Jean Splice.  Size 48 Stroke 1.  Type Shalom.  Objects Align Center Horizontally in Canvas.  Convert to Raster Layer.  Inner Bevel as before.

Step 16:  Layer New Raster Layer.  Apply watermark.  Layers Merge All/Flatten.

Christmas Tree Outline 6 Sections byjustjeanne

You may use the six Christmas Christian graphics supplied or six graphics of your own.  If you use you own, resize them so that the width is no more than 300 pixels.

Step 1:  open each of the graphics, duplicate and close out the originals.  Open the Christmas Tree Outline 6 Sections byjustjeanne, duplicate and close original.

Step 2:  Magic Wand the upper left corner using:

Settings:  Add (Shift) RGB Value 0 Tolerance Sample Merged NOT checked Contiguous checked 0 Feather Anti-alias checked Outside 
Modify/Expand 1

Step 3:  Maximize 1202_nativity, edit/copy and paste into selection.  (for that section, you need a graphic that will fit).  Deselect.

Step 4:  Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the remaining five graphics.  I used 7-AdorationofShepherds Murillo(RGB) for the top right corner.

Step 5:  Drop Shadow:

Settings:  2/2/50/5 Color: black Shadow on new layer NOT checked.

Step 6:  Choose a light color for Foreground and a dark color for your Background.  Create a new gradient of your choice or use one you already have.  Layer new raster, flood fill with gradient, and send to bottom.

Step 7:  Effects/Textures/Fine Leather:

Settings:  Color: a color in your images but not your Foreground or Background Color.

Step 8:  Add borders:
1 pixel black
8 pixels Background
8 Pixels Foreground
1 pixel black

Edit/Select All Modify/Contract 18

3D Cut Out:

 Settings:  0/0100/20 Black

Invert.  Inner Bevel:

Settings: #2 12/18/4/6/20/White/199/64/10

Deselect.

Step 9:  Add new border 36 pixels White.  Magic Wand.  Copy one of your graphics and paste into selection.  Adjust/Blur Gaussian Blur 55.  

Effects/Reflection/Pattern:

Settings: 85/22/199/-80/10/7/66/99

Inner Bevel settings as before.  Deselect.

Step 10:  repeat Step 8.

Layer new raster layer.  Add watermark.  Merge All/Flatten.

Optional:  You may add text and/or corner accents, if you so desire.

Resize as you wish.  Create a background for an Incredimail stat and assemble in Letter Creator.

Step 1:  Set Foreground Color #000000

Step 2:  Open 2010 Balloon graphic.  Duplicate and close original. 

Step 3:  Layer New Raster Layer Flood Fill with Black (#000000).  Layers Send to Bottom.  Move graphic to top center.

Step 4:  Open Fathertime-tole-11050.  Edit copy, close original.  Resize to 75% bicubic resize all layers NOT checked.  Paste as a new layer.  Move to bottom left corner.

Step 5:  Open Audrie_NewYearsBabysmall.  Edit copy, close original.  Resize to 50% bicubic resize all layers NOT checked.  Paste as a new layer.  Move to bottom right corner.

Step 6:  Open JrettNewBeginnings_816a.  Edit copy, close original.  Resize to 50% bicubic resize all layers NOT checked.  Paste as a new layer.  Move to right corner above baby.

Step 7:  Open NY Word Art by justjeanne.  Edit Copy.  Close original.  Paste as a new layer.  Move to bottom center. 

Layers Merge All Flatten.

Step 8:  Set your foreground and background colors to your choice of two of the following colors (I used the first two; the hot pink and the hot lime green):
#41fd44
#ff00ff
#ffff00
#40ffff

Add borders as follows:
4 pixels foreground
4 pixels background
4 pixels foreground
4 pixels background

Step 9:  Add border 36 Black (#000000).   Magic Wand.  Effects/Reflection/Kaleidoscope.

Settings:  30/40/300/-40/6/2/46 

3D Inner Bevel: Settings:  #2/5/4/3/0/3/White/315/50/30

Selections None

Step 10:  Repeat Step 8 using the same two colors you chose. 

Step 11:  Add border 36 Black (#000000).   Magic Wand.  Effects/Distortion Effects/Spiky Halo  - Settings: 0/0/50/20/50 Color:  Whatever Bright Foreground you chose.  Repeat twice more using same settings.  Keep selected. 

Change color on Spiky Halo to whatever bright background you chose.  Repeat twice more using same settings.  Inner Bevel settings as before.  Selections None.

Step 12:   Repeat Step 8

Step 13:  Open Shooting Star Accent by justjeanne, copy, close original.  Paste as a new layer.  Move to top left corner.  Simple Top Left Mirror.

Step 14:  Layer New Raster Layer.  Watermark.  Layers Merge All Flatten.

Resize for an Incredimail stat or a tag.  Jpeg.

Make a background of your choosing for an Incredimail stat and assemble in Letter Creator.

Step 1:  Set Foreground Color #f1df42 Background Color #cd6b0a

Step 2:  Open Gold Ornaments on Red graphic.  Duplicate twice and close original.  Minimize one copy.  Edit copy.  Open CJ Nativity1_Mist.  Edit Copy.  Close original.

Step 3:  Working on the upper ornament, Selection Tool Circle Add (shift) Anti Alias NOT checked Feather 0, draw a circle almost the size of the ornament.  New raster layer, paste into selection.  Selections None.  Change blend mode to Luminance Legacy.

 

Step 4:  Open NavidadNacimiento3.  Edit Copy.  Close original.  Working on the lower ornament, Selection Tool Circle Add (shift) Anti Alias NOT checked Feather 0, draw a circle almost the size of the ornament.  New raster layer, paste into selection.  Selections None.  Change blend mode to Soft Light. 

Step 5:  Open Word Art by justjeanne.  Edit Copy.  Close original.  Paste as a new layer.  Move to bottom center.  Drop Shadow: Settings:  1/1/50/5 Black.  Layers Merge All Flatten.

Step 6:  Add borders as follows:

4 pixels foreground
4 pixels background
4 pixels foreground
4 pixels background
Select All
Modify/Contract 16

3D Cut Out:

Settings:  2/2/100/10 Color Foreground

Repeat 3D Cut but change to -2 Vertical -2 Horizontal.  Selections None.

Step 7:  Add border 46 Foreground.  Magic Wand.  Copy Gold Ornaments on Red graphic and Paste Into Selection.  Apply Gaussian Blur 50.  Effects/Reflection/Pattern

Settings:  50/30/301/-75/9/5/48/77.  Selections None

Step 8:  Repeat Step 6.

Step 9:  Open Star Corner Accent by justjeanne, copy, close original.  Paste as a New Layer in top left corner.  Apply Drop Shadow  settings as before.  Simple Top Left Mirror.

Step 10:  Layer New Raster Layer.  Watermark.  Layers Merge All Flatten.

Resize for an Incredimail stat or a tag.  Jpeg.

Make a background of your choosing for an Incredimail stat and assemble in Letter Creator.

Simple Nativity Tutorial

SIMPLE NATIVITY 

Written in PSP9 but should be doable in later versions:

Supplies:      Nativity Scene
Star Corner Accents
Plugins:    FM Blend Emboss
        Simple Top Left Mirror 

Supplies: HERE

Step 1:  Open Nativity Scene graphic.  Duplicate twice and close original.  Minimize one copy.

Step 2:  Set Foreground Color #bc8c5b Background Color #5d0709

Step 3:  FM Tools/Blend Emboss. 

Settings:  Default

Step 4:  Add borders as follows:
6 pixels background
4 pixels foreground
6 pixels background/

Select All.  Modify/Contract 24

Step 5:  3D Cut Out:

Settings:  1/1/100/10 Black

Invert.

Blend Emboss (settings as before)

Selections None.

Step 6:  Magic Wand the inner and outer 6 pixel borders (the deep red ones).  Inner Bevel.

Settings:  #2/5/4/3/0/3/White/315/50/30

Selections None.

Step 7:  Add border 46 pixels foreground color.  Magic Wand.  Open your second copy of the graphic.  Copy and paste into selection.

Effects/Reflection/Pattern:

Settings:  38/25/335/-94/7/4/43/66

Blend Emboss.

Selections None.

Step 8:  Repeats steps #4, #5, and #6.

Step 9:  Open corner accent.  Apply Drop Shadow:

Settings: 1/1/35/4 color Foreground.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Move to top left corner.  Simple Top Left Mirror.

Add New Raster Layer and apply your watermark.  Layers Merge/Flatten.

Add text, if you so desire; a Christmas message or your name for a tag.

Resize, if you wish.  Jpeg.


Background for stat:


Step 1:  New image 300 X 300 pixels 200 dpi Opacity 40%

Flood fill with copy of Nativity Scene graphic.

Layers Merge Flatten.

Step 2:  New Raster Layer Opacity 25%

Flood fill with background color.

Layers Merge Flatten.

Reduce size to 200 X 200 pixels.

FM Blend Emboss.

Seamless Tiling Default Settings.

Assemble in Letter Creator.
